Kinetik is a car audio battery brand originally founded in Toledo, Ohio, and acquired by Universal Power Group (UPG) in 2012. The brand specializes in high-performance AGM batteries designed specifically for car audio applications. Their HC (High Current) series batteries—including the BLU, REV, and PRO lines—are engineered to provide sustained current output with low internal resistance and robust construction. The HC PRO series is manufactured in the USA using 99.9% pure lead. Kinetik batteries have been widely used by SPL competitors and car audio enthusiasts worldwide, with their power cells appearing in systems that have broken 180dB in sound-off competitions.
