Retired US Navy Airframer, proud father, been in the hobby since 1998.
What started as a hobby in 1997 has now been a 20-year career. He started out as a car show and SPL guy, and now he's focusing more on SQ builds.
Ricky had a rough life in high school. He worked as a mechanic but then decided to change. He's two years sober, graduated college two years ago, and is a mechatronics automation tech with over 20 certifications. "If it can come apart, I can fix it. Anything from rebuilding engines, working on one of his 17 Hondas, to wiring industrial equipment, to simple 12V, welding, fabricating, CAD designing, 3D printing, hydraulic, and pneumatic no matter what it is I will learn and try to know what it is and how to do it the best I can. I strive to know as much as I can and help others with problems no matter how big or small."
Nate’s build is known as the Silver Surfer. He used to compete in NSPL, and his very first score was a 150dB @ 40Hz (Tezla Audio 1.5K 15s (2) powered by two Kicker KXA2400.1s). It’s always been a no wall until he teamed up with Keith McKee to do his first wall which was a C-pillar 4th utilizing two Zv6 15s powered by a SALT-8. The only thing he’s interested in now is just attending events and enjoying his setup once it’s done. The new build, coming summer 2024, and Keith McKee is back on it…Team Sundown FTW 🤙🏾
In and out of car audio for 17 years with the last “return” being 9 years ago. He is full of character and it shows within his vehicles and the way he approaches each build. Fully transparent he is always willing to share his perspective and how he did whatever it is he did at the time. Log loves to show the world what he has to offer by posting to several social media outlets. This has opened up several opportunities to him ranging from being able to represent LF Audio as an authorized dealer and being accepted as a member of team Sundown Audio. Being a member of team Sundown, he has represented HARD by putting together one mean full Sundown trunk build in his Hyundai coined the “ELogtra”.
