Posted by Sean Wagner on Feb 14, 2025 I wish I could post pictures of the box. It came out that good! I actually filled in all the screw holes & used Tite Bond 3 & brad nails from my brad nailer to put the whole box together. The subs im using are Avatar SVL 15's, I had to make the cut-outs a little bigger. But I only did it to the top plate. So the bottom plate had more wood for the screws to hold the subs in. I actually use 2" long ¼" lag bolts with washers to hold my subs inverted. I also made the port longer then it came. It was a good thing too. Because had I not it would have been tuned to like 40hz. Not 31hz like it is now. Thats with making the short inside port board like 3 times as long. It's better to go to long, as you can always cut it down later. Can't beat it for the price and the terminal cup that's included is solid quality. Took about an hour to fully complete. Fully solid no gaps. I cannot complain. After inspecting the pieces, I was very pleased with the quality of work. Absolutely love the D4sound engraved logo, matches the sticker on back glass. Thanks JP! 4 Flatpack double 15 kit Posted by Dale Roberson on Sep 26, 2023 Overall worth every penny. For the price of wood and the time to make the cuts well worth it. Very clean and precise cuts. Did not find a bad cut both baffles were perfect. Only flaw is the wood itself. Some of the edges were chipped off but you can't expect perfection in shipping from NV to NC so overall bravo JP and d4s will definitely buy again!! 5 Excellent quality box Posted by Robert Welling on Apr 24, 2023 I just put this dual 15s box together and it was super fun and easy. I used 1 and 3/8 drywall screws and 2 inch drywall screws along with titebond 3 wood glue. Before I put the double baffle tip on I silicone the entire box at every seam so it will be completely sealed. I do highly recommend using drywall screws because they grip the wood super well. Don't use screws that have really fine threads. This was my first box build and it came out great.
