The neodymium motor structure, coupled with a lightweight voice coil former and paper cone, helps create a high-efficiency speaker that can deliver loud music on low power, even in tight spaces. The aluminum phase plug reduces unwanted distortion in the center of the speaker cone. This results in a wider dispersion pattern, suitable for loud and clear listening, even with off-axis positioning, such as when the speaker is mounted in door panels or kick-pods.
