I also went to home depot and bought a roll of carpet padding with the moisture barrier to cover the deadener where all the metal and plastic touched, and to fill in the spots between panels where there are dead air pockets. It made the doors heavy and solid with no metallic sound when you tap the panels from outside, and it killed 99% of the rattle. Bass feels louder, and it sounds clear and crisp. AND THAT ROLLER THOUGH!! It's got a wide roller so you get it done quick and a thin roller to make sure you get ALL OF IT DONE. I feel like I'm making faster progress the second time around w the deadener cuz the roller doesn't give like a paint roller, meaning I'm more efficient, this time. Way to take something ugly like cheap deadener and turn it into something that looks awesome and performs equally well. Before w cheap stuff, it took one evening to do each door, but with this quality stuff I got all 4 doors done in one evening, I got the rear cab wall done in another evening. I installed two Sundown SA 12s in a Down 4 Sound pro fab box on a Down 4 Sound JP23. Needless to say my trunk lid was about to fly off! The rattling was so bad I couldn't enjoy the bass in the cabin. Ordered this and covered the whole inner trunk lid with 2 sheets left over I stripped and put I several places inside the trunk and quarter panels. It is more than night and day difference! It totally exceeded my expectations. I'd say it took away 80 percent of the rattles away and increased the sound quality and overall bass inside the cabin. Unbelievably easy to install. By far this is the absolute best I have ever seen. Amazing adhesion it’s not sharp on the edges so you don’t cut your hands. It has no smell. Has a really cool pattern. And most importantly it works absolutely perfect. Double layered the complete floor of my trunk, trunk lid, and roof. I single layered the rear fenders as far up the c-pillar that I could and up to the back of the front seats on the floor. I have a sun roof so there are little to no roof supports. Before the roof sounded like knocking on a loose street sign. Now with just 2 80mil layers it’s unexplainably quiet. It’s rock solid. The exhaust drone was cut by at least 75% and I have straight piped inline 6 turbo diesel so it was BAD before. I would highly recommend. Price is cheap. I will be buying 2 more 38sqft packs to do 2 layers on the doors, a second/ third layer on the rear fenders, and the panel behind the rear seat. View All Close

No damage to the deadner as it can't possibly get damaged it being so hard and tough. I will mention that I did have a mix-up with shipping they sent me rella mat instead of rilla shield. You can buy similar rollers on Amazon or Ebay but they are a one use item if that. This roller should last for many deadener applications. Oh yeah and the shipping is ridiculously fast. Do keep in mind that for behind panels it is very thick so using inside your doors can be tricky for proper fitment. With that said it dampened my doors very well and the midbass is exceptional now. The best part is even though it’s hella thick, it’s still pretty easy to work with.
