However, the DVPE incorporates all of the above and comes with dual 8″ woofers, ready to satisfy any bass cravings. DUAL SUB PORTED ENCLOSURES DVPE 28 / DVPE 212 goes beyond what you can expect from a prefab. They offer a wider frequency response and a tuning frequency that makes sense so you can enjoy your music without limitations. This is also reflected in the size of the enclosures. The DVPEs are made to fit, utilizing the entire width of most vehicle’s trunk space, and having an angled back to increase the inner volume. All of this helps achieve more bass with less power. CORNERS & ANGLES NO FLEX should be a fundamental consideration when constructing enclosures. Regrettably, many enclosures do not match their external appearance internally. The presence of flex can significantly impact both performance and overall quality. The DVPE features corner bracing, full-height slot ports (which also act as bracing), and a wedged design to enhance stability. With a tuning of 40 Hz, one would typically require longer ports or a larger enclosure.
