Advanced Power Management The HPVM’s innovative Deep Sleep mode is engineered to minimize powerconsumption, drawing just 167 milliwatts when it senses a gradual voltage drop withouttransients. This ensures minimal battery drain, taking up to 294 days to deplete a fullycharged 100 amp-hour 12V AGM battery. While in low-power mode, the HPVM Pro continuously monitors cumulative batterydrain. A prominent red warning signal is triggered by significant voltage drops, flaggingpotential issues such as excessive parasitic loads or a failing battery. This intelligentdesign ensures early detection of power system issues, identifying issues like a weakbattery or excessive parasitic draw, before they become bigger problems. The system’s rapid response circuitry also ensures immediate reactivation upondetecting a voltage spike, seamlessly resuming full operation, and offering real-timeupdates to keep you informed. When a gradual voltage drop with no transients is detected, the meter automatically reduces power consumption to just 167 milliwatts. At that rate, it would take 7,059 hours (294 days) to fully drain a 100 amp hour 12V AGM battery.   Once the meter detects a voltage spike, it instantly returns to full operation.
