12" NB2 Series Subwoofer by Prodigy Audio™

The NB2 Series of subs are class leading entry level subwoofers, with many features normally found only in higher end products. Starting with a double stacked magnet structure paired with a very long voice coil, the NB2 has an advantage. Reaching up to14mm of linear Xmax One Way and 2” of mechanical movement clearance peak to peak, it assures a durable subwoofer. Cooling is optimized through computer simulations at first and then offering center pole Vent as well as Radial back plate holes for moving BTU’s out of the coil gap. To increase the power handling, we chose to use 500f degree coil adhesive and glue joints throughout the subwoofer. We chose a durable foam surround with a strong paper cone to move the sound pressures reliably. A rubber gasket, chrome push terminals, quality Cotton blend spider with stitched tinsel leads all round out the quality choices toward offering one of the very best entry level subwoofers on the market.
